Spring is here, why is it still raining?

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

SPRING IS HERE
What a busy week we have this week! Monday 1 September saw the start of Read-a-thon week, Arbor Week and Spring! We do hope now that September is here that warmer weather will be on the way soon. This past Monday was also the start of Ramadaan and we would like to wish all our Muslim families well over the fast.

Thursday last week was Mr English’s last day at Camps Bay Primary. We wish him well and will always keep him in our hearts. Mr English’s gift was a brand new watch, and he is very pleased with it! We would like to send out a sincere word of thanks to all the parents who contributed towards the gift for Mr English and attended either the farewell function or farewell assembly.

CASUAL DAY
This Friday we will be having a casual day in aid of persons with physical challenges. The cost to participate in the day is R5. All the monies raised will be sent to Fountain House. Fountain house is the only vocational rehabilitation centre in the Western Cape dedicated to providing people with a mental illness with skills development, vocational training and work placement to enable gradual reintegration into society and the work place and opportunity to experience quality of life.
